RECIPE: OATMEAL PORRIDGE

So today I’m sharing with you one of my easiest and healthy recipes for breakfast. Have you heard of Oatmel Porridge? It’s the perfect breakfast for a cold winter. It’s super simple but tasty. You just need to cook it for 10 to 15 minutes, but don’t overcook it. Usually it’s cooked with water but I like doing it with only milk, because it’s gives a nice flavour of coconut.

Hoy comparto con vosotros una de mis rápidas y saludables recetas para desayunar. Habéis oí2wdo del Oatmel Porridge? Es el desayuno perfecto para los inviernos fríos. Es super simple pero bueno.  Solamente debes cocinarlo por unos 10 / 15 minutos. Normalmente se cocina con agua, pero me gusta hacerlo solamente con leche, porque le da un sabor muy gustosos del coco.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup of oats | 1 vaso de copos de avena
  • 1/2 cup of milk  | 1/2 vaso de leche
  • 1 pinch of salt | 1 pizca de sal
  • Sugar, honey, syrup to garnish |  azúcar, miel, sirope para aderezar
  • Fruit(Optional): Raspberries, blueberries | Fruta(Opcional): Frambuesas, arándanos

Bio raspberries and blueberries, Organic Bio Provamel milk and also some Oats.

Put the oats in a medium saucepan and toast it just for a while until fragant in a medium high heat.

Add some milk and bring slowly to the boil, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon.

Turn down the heat and stirring very regularly for about 10 minutes, until you have the consistency you want. After 5 minutes add the salt.

Then serve it in a bowl, and add some toppings of your choice and a moat of cold milk.

So here it is! Simple, super easy, fulfilling and tasty. Just an ancient recipe that has become famous at the moment. Never goes out of style!!

Give it a shot you won’t regret this ultimate winter breakfast. Porridge takes a goodly while for the body to digest, which means it releases its energy more slowly, keeping you feeling fuller for longer. So what, go on a try it!!
